About the Role

PiinPoint is seeking a part-time (2-3 days per week) Finance Lead to bring clarity, control, and forward momentum to our financial operations as we grow. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for maintaining short and long-term financial visibility, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring resource allocation aligns with company goals.

You will play a vital role in cash flow forecasting and budget accountability, all while embedding financial best practices into our weekly operating cadence. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in lean environments, enjoys building scalable processes, and can confidently serve as a strategic finance partner across the business.

Functional Accountabilities

  • Maintain a Weekly Cash Flow Statement Track inflows/outflows and update weekly to ensure near-term cash clarity and decision support.
  • Review Discretionary Spending Review non-routine expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities across software, marketing, and services.
  • Investor Relations and Capital Support Assist with capital raises (debt/equity), maintain investor dashboards, and prepare materials for funders and the board.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable and Collections Weekly Improve cash inflow by proactively tracking aged receivables and collaborating with internal stakeholders to follow up.
  • Own Financial Forecasting and Planning Maintain and refine integrated models to support scenario planning, cost allocations, and growth targets.
  • Track KPIs and Weekly Metrics Ensure core financial and operational KPIs are consistently tracked, benchmarked, and integrated into leadership dashboards.
  • Support Quarterly Strategic Planning Contribute financial analysis and modeling to inform key decisions around hiring, pricing, expansion, and resource allocation during quarterly planning sessions.

What You Bring

  • 5–10+ years of experience in finance, ideally within SaaS or service-based companies
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CFA designation is an asset)
  • Proven expertise in financial modelling, cash flow management, and budgeting
  • Strong command of forecasting tools, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and QuickBooks
  • Experience with investor relations and board-level financial reporting
  • A track record of identifying risks early and creating clear financial narratives to support decisions
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Metronomics, EOS, or other strategy/execution frameworks
