We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated I/O student or recent grad to join our growing Professional Services team on a 4- or 6-month contract. As an analyst, you would work closely with our I/O Psychology Specialists and report directly to our Director of Professional Services, contributing to psychometric analysis, research and development, and customer resource development. If you have a passion for data analysis, assessment validation, and research, this role is perfect for you!

We are a fully remote team of 45 and, while our roots are in Waterloo Canada, we have team members from Vancouver to Texas to Halifax. Our ideal candidate will be located in Canada and willing to work Eastern Standard Time. We are open to both full-time or part-time hours.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct data analysis on assessments, including validation studies, to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Contribute to the research design and planning process.
  • Prepare technical reports that support the defensibility and effectiveness of our assessment methodologies.
  • Perform audits and reviews of current assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, synthesizing findings from academic and business sources, to support our research and development and marketing initiatives.
  • Create customer resources, such as guides and manuals, to assist clients in effectively adopting and utilizing our assessments.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Master’s Degree (or working towards) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from an accredited university, showcasing your expertise in the field.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data management and analysis, allowing you to efficiently handle and manipulate large datasets.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics, and study design enabling you to apply statistical methods and techniques to analyze and interpret assessment data.
