Prodigy launched its Educator Enablement program in 2024 to offer no-cost partnerships to schools and districts across the United States. With over 100 partner districts onboard today, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager, Customer Success to help us scale and sustain momentum. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing a cost-efficient, light-touch customer success strategy that drives teachers, students, and administrators to Prodigy with purpose at scale. Your work will directly shape how we support our district partners, ensuring they receive the training, support, and ongoing information needed to maximize their impact using Prodigy.

At Prodigy, Account Executives maintain Prodigy’s relationships with school district leaders post-partnership. Unlike a traditional Manager, Customer Success role, this position does not involve leading a team of Customer Success Managers; however, you will be responsible for overseeing our team of teacher trainers and guiding their efforts to support educator success. Your work will also ensure smooth onboarding experiences, including monitoring the completion of teacher training and the placement of Lead Teachers.

You’ll also build the systems and processes needed for tracking and evaluating district partner account success, ensuring that our Account Executive team is prepared to help nurture accounts needing extra attention. Additionally, you will lead the development of a lifecycle communications journey for school and district administrators. As we grow, you’ll continuously iterate on our processes to improve adoption, usage, and retention outcomes while also solving for failure points.

Your Impact

  • Strategically design the foundation for tracking and measuring account health across partner districts, with an eye towards scalability and efficiency.

  • Monitor product usage data to identify districts needing additional support, helping drive engagement, reduce churn, and boost adoption.

  • Equip Account Executives with clear, timely insights into the health of partner districts through regular updates and data-driven reporting.

  • Train Account Executives on best practices in customer success to strengthen partner engagement and retention.

  • Manage our teacher trainers to ensure professional development is delivered with high satisfaction.

  • Maintain oversight of critical onboarding milestones to ensure districts launch successfully.

  • Develop and implement a lifecycle communications strategy for administrators that supports retention and highlights key moments, such as feature releases and special events, using a “next best action” framework.

  • Continuously refine and scale success practices to enhance adoption, deepen engagement, and improve long-term retention outcomes.

  • Support efficacy research initiatives by monitoring usage in participating districts and guiding teachers and administrators toward optimal engagement levels.

  • Represent Prodigy at conferences by recruiting district partners for participation and occasionally supporting efforts to engage with current and prospective customers at our exhibitor booth.

  • Contribute to the development of compelling social proof by identifying and recruiting partners for success stories, quotes, and case studies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Product, and Data teams to align goals, share insights, and drive long-term partner success.

About You

  • A proven track record of success with 3+ years as a Customer Success Manager, in addition to 3+ years of experience managing a Customer Success team.

  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, efficient strategies that drive product adoption, ongoing usage, health monitoring, retention, and customer satisfaction.

  • Skilled at using usage and engagement data to track account health, surface risks, and drive proactive intervention.

  • Familiar with CRM and communications platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Customer.io) and able to build reports or workflows that support lifecycle management.

  • Experienced and effective people manager, able to coach cross-functional collaborators and provide guidance or training to team members.

  • Team player who has been a key part of high-stakes cross-functional teams to align goals and execute coordinated initiatives.

  • Exceptionally organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment; able to lead strategic initiatives while executing with precision.

  • Deeply passionate about education and motivated to help districts succeed in delivering meaningful learning outcomes through Prodigy.

  • Open to occasional travel within the United States for in-person engagements, such as educator-focused conferences.

Bonus Points

  • A degree, diploma, or certification in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced education is a plus.

  • Proven experience supporting a high-performing sales team in a growth-focused environment.

  • Deep understanding of the K-12 education sector, including its unique challenges, trends, and stakeholder dynamics.
