As a Technical Product Manager, you will contribute to shaping the product experience for millions of students worldwide—while ensuring alignment with educational and business goals. This role is primarily focused on identity and the registration and login experiences - which can be challenging in the education field with younger students as our primary users. The vision for this role is to ensure all user types have “Attached accounts - used everywhere”. The team is also responsible for technical initiatives related to integrations with other EdTech providers and GraphQL. Given the technical nature of this role, the ability to clearly articulate the business and customer impact of technical initiatives is essential.
Your Impact
Contribute to the product roadmap while coordinating with Design, Data, and Development teams to align on current focus areas and dynamically adapt timelines to evolving priorities
Own the registration and login experience for core user groups, including students, parents, and teachers, with a focus on improving usability and access across devices and platforms.
Work with partners like Google, Clever and others to manage SSO and other integrations
Partner with engineering teams to manage and prioritize GraphQL-related development work
Maintain and prepare the project backlog to ensure your team is always working on the highest priority items, balancing the development of new features, iterations, bug fixes, and other internal tasks
Build a strong understanding of user needs, leveraging research insights, onboarding data, segmentation, and feedback to guide product decisions.
Track and analyze metrics at every part of the user journey so that you can focus in on the highest value opportunities
Effectively scope projects and experiments so that they are lean but also add enough value to validate your hypotheses
Communicate effectively and often, keeping stakeholders informed of roadmap priorities, key milestones, and team progress.Consistently communicate what your team is working on and releasing to partner teams
Celebrate and share team wins, ensuring progress is visible and tied to our broader mission and goals.
About You
5+ years of experience in a Product Management role including at least 2 years with a strong technical focus.
Experience using user research and metrics to add significant value to a product
A solid understanding of data driven decision making, including the ability to drive and interpret hypothesis-based testing including A/B testing
Hands-on experience with third-party app integrations to enhance product functionality
Ability to identify and address the distinct needs of different user types, including adults and students, to enhance their overall experience
Can clearly describe & communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders as well as business and user value of technical initiatives to several internal & external audiences
A passion for education
Previous experience collaborating cross functionally - closely with engineers, developers, UX designers, and other team members
