We are hiring a People Partner to join our team. The People Partner is a champion of Prodigy’s culture and values. They partner with managers and employees, working closely with them to drive initiatives that enhance engagement, development, and overall effectiveness.
This role will be primarily focused on supporting our Game department and will work closely with product owners, craft leads, and their teams to build strong, trust-based relationships and gain a deep understanding of the department’s unique dynamics, goals, and challenges. By aligning people strategies with both departmental priorities and broader company objectives, they will help drive initiatives that support team health, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. With a strong pulse on HR trends and emerging needs within the game team, the People Partner will proactively surface opportunities and collaborate with leaders to design and implement high-impact, tailored solutions that foster a culture of clarity, accountability, and continuous growth.
This will be an 18-month contract and will end no later than March 2027.
Your Impact:
Partner with business leadership and serve as a trusted advisor on people issues.
Coach and train managers to help them become effective leaders for their employees and provide ideas and opportunities, thus acting as a catalyst for change.
Motivate employees and drive the business forward by owning or supporting HR cyclical programs such as performance excellence, compensation planning, learning and development, and employee engagement, creating custom solutions where appropriate.
Identify an opportunity or root cause of a problem, provide a hypothesis, design a plan to test the hypothesis, and execute that plan in a way that considers HR best practices, change management, and Prodigy’s business strategy.
Provide support and proactive recommendations to improve and/or change company policies and procedures to ensure cultural alignment and regulatory compliance.
Conduct investigations to recommend and facilitate the best outcome and resolution for the organization.
Lead team projects from planning to execution to the retrospective, ensuring that lessons learned are captured.
Proactively gather feedback on the general satisfaction of employees with the programs that we offer and provide recommendations that influence changes and align with the HR or business strategy.
About You:
5+ years of People Partner and or Human Resources Business Partner experience
Experience within the gaming industry and or tech space
Proven ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels, helping them navigate challenges, grow as people managers, and drive team effectiveness
Demonstrated success partnering with Engineering, Product, and Design teams—you understand how these functions operate and intersect.
Experience with navigating complex team dynamics, including knowing when and how to challenge leadership decisions constructively.
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to undefined situations.
A thoughtful and values-driven approach to HR that balances business outcomes, cultural alignment, and the employee experience
