We’re looking for a Manufacturing & Production Lead to join our team and develop cutting-edge solutions for production management of our robotic manufacturing in Edmonton, Alberta. This role will be responsible for production management, quality assurance, continuous improvement & R&D, audits & compliance, safety & maintenance, and knowledge sharing people development.

What you'll do:
- Plan, organize, and manage the production process and resources to meet production goals and deadlines using the Promise Robotics’ Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Implement industry best practices for workplace management.
- Review Production drawings to ensure they meet the expected quality and accuracy for production.
- Manage and coordinate activities related to production, logistics, and assembly on site.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met and exceeded.
- Conduct Quality Control on material and final products and record observations to review with R&D team.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and throughput.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements to support research and development.
- Manage and coordinate activities within a cross-functional team to support production and various product development initiatives.
- Assist in documentation and development of production procedures and standards.
- Conduct routine and standard audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
- Ensure that all operations align with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Oversee maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Promote knowledge sharing among team members and departments to foster a culture of learning and growth.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to employees, focusing on their professional development.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Degree in Construction Management or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in project/production management, preferably in a manufacturing or construction industry
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies
- Familiarity with prefabrication or modular construction
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, focused and persistent with the ability to work to the plan and meet delivery dates
- Excellent problem solver and quick learner
