Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with insurance clients to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to Guidewire product integrations.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams working on Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud API, Event Messaging, Batch Processes, and REST APIs.
• Act as a bridge between business and development teams to support solution design, testing, and deployment of integration solutions.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and user story sessions to identify pain points, current workflows, and process gaps.
• Validate solution scope, assist in effort estimation, and support backlog grooming and prioritization in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, architects, and SI partners to ensure solutions align with both technical feasibility and business value.
• Prepare and deliver functional documents, demo scripts, and stakeholder updates, ensuring clarity and traceability of requirements.
• Provide input on solution design decisions and verify that business requirements are met through effective implementation and testing.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance space, with a focus on digital and/or integration projects.
• Strong understanding of the P&C InsuranceSuite and its core capabilities.
• Familiarity with integration technologies, including:
• Integration Gateway
• App Events
• Cloud API
• REST APIs
• Event Messaging
• Batch Processing
• Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 or N2) is required.
• Experience handling Japanese clients is required, including day‐to‐day interactions, requirement discussions, and expectation management.
• Strong problem‐solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working across cross‐functional teams and global time zones, with shift flexibility as needed.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including user story creation, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
