Job Description
What you’ll do
Lead discovery and requirement workshops to capture underwriting, product, rating, and policy lifecycle needs, translating them into clear user stories and functional specifications for PolicyCenter.
Design PolicyCenter configurations for product model, coverages, rating worksheets, workflows, underwriting rules, and job lifecycles, using out-of-the-box capabilities wherever possible.
Perform process and gap analysis across quoting, issuance, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals, recommending scalable solutions that reduce implementation effort and time.
Collaborate with architects and integration teams to define integrations between PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and external systems (rating engines, bureaus, third-party data), ensuring data quality and performance.
Partner with underwriters, actuaries, product owners, developers, and QA to align configurations with filed products, pricing strategies, and regulatory expectations.
Support Agile delivery through backlog grooming, clear acceptance criteria, requirement traceability, and validation during functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Use project data and feedback to refine configuration approaches and help turn services-led innovation into repeatable offerings across customers and regions.
At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.

Your Impact
We believe in clarity and setting you up for success. In your first months, you will learn our implementation methodology and PolicyCenter capabilities while pairing with experienced consultants on an active project. You’ll start by owning focused functional areas—such as a product line, rating component, or policy transaction—building relationships with customer product owners, underwriters, and technical teams. Within your first 6 months, you will lead end-to-end policy workstreams, from requirement workshops through solution design and testing, helping reduce rework, shorten time-to-value, and drive consistent, repeatable patterns in Professional Services. Over time, your work will influence how insurers adopt Guidewire’s cloud and AI capabilities, directly contributing to customer success and our broader mission in the P&C industry.
