Regional Sales Director, LATAM - PricingCenter
Sales & Business Development
Mexico · Remote
Job Description
What you’ll do
Own and drive net-new PricingCenter and related platform sales across LATAM, with a focus on $500K–$5M+ ARR opportunities in the P&C carrier segment.
Build, deepen, and orchestrate executive relationships with Chief Pricing Officers, Chief Actuaries, CIOs, and business leaders to shape multi-year pricing and underwriting transformation roadmaps.
Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through close, using a Challenger-style, value-based approach grounded in P&C insurance economics, actuarial workflows, and business outcomes.
Partner with Product, Professional Services, Marketing, and Alliances to align on GTM priorities, enablement, and packaging that support PricingCenter’s role as the leading P&C pricing solution and accelerate adoption of AI-powered capabilities.
Navigate and influence competitive situations involving other rating and pricing solutions (e.g., Duck Creek, Earnix, Akur8) and consulting partners to clearly differentiate Guidewire’s cloud platform and ecosystem.
At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.
What you’ll bring
Required
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding annual quotas.
4+ years selling into P&C insurance carriers, with a strong understanding of pricing, rating, and underwriting workflows.
Proven track record of closing complex SaaS or subscription deals in the $500K–$5M+ ARR range, involving multi-stakeholder buying groups.
Deep familiarity with P&C insurance economics, including loss ratio, combined ratio, and levers that drive pricing and underwriting profitability.
Experience selling transformation initiatives (pricing modernization, digital insurance, or core system/cloud migration) to executive stakeholders.
Strong Challenger/consultative selling skills: able to reframe customer thinking, quantify value, and build a compelling business case for change.
Fluency in Spanish and strong business-level English; ability to operate effectively across cultures in LATAM.
Preferred
Experience with the Guidewire ecosystem or direct selling experience with solutions such as PricingCenter, PolicyCenter, or other core P&C platforms.
Background selling or competing with pricing and rating solutions such as Duck Creek, Earnix, or Akur8, or experience in insurance/actuarial consulting.
Experience working in or closely with actuarial, underwriting, or data science teams on pricing-related initiatives.
Familiarity with AI-infused insurance solutions and how AI/GenAI can transform underwriting and pricing workflows, aligned with Guidewire’s GTM focus on AI-powered innovation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Your Impact
We believe in clarity and setting you up for success. In your first six months, you will build and execute a focused territory plan for LATAM, activate a set of priority accounts, establish C-level and actuarial relationships, and bring at least three to four strategic PricingCenter opportunities into late-stage pipeline. You will work cross-functionally to position PricingCenter and related AI capabilities as a unified solution for pricing and underwriting transformation, directly supporting GTM’s FY27 goals of making PricingCenter the leading P&C pricing software and driving measurable adoption and value across new markets and product categories. Over time, your wins will create reference customers in LATAM, influence our product roadmap, and help Guidewire further its mission to transform how P&C insurers operate in a cloud- and AI-first world.
