JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, Accessibility Certification (AC) is responsible for the operational delivery of the RHFAC program. This role is responsible for overseeing program implementation for ratings/certification, including expansion, continuous improvement, and special initiatives. As RHFAC expands nationally and internationally, the Sr. Manager, AC will play a pivotal role in strategy, scaling delivery and relationship management.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The Sr. Manager, AC reports to the Sr. Director, Programs, and manages staff responsible for client services, outreach, and special initiatives. This role works closely with other RHFAC sub-units, the Marketing & Communications, Finance, and Resource Development teams. The Sr. Manager, AC cultivates strong relationships with clients, program participants, and external partners to support program objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Program Leadership & Delivery: Contribute to the strategic development of and lead the delivery of RHFAC rating/certification activities, including special initiatives such as challenges and grant programs. Oversee the design and implementation of program enhancements.
- People Management: Recruit and manage staff and contractors. Facilitate collaboration across RHF teams and major vendors.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with industry, clients, and funders to support RHFAC growth both nationally and internationally.
- Marketing & Outreach: Support program growth in RHFAC by collaborating with Marketing & Communications on messaging, collateral, and storytelling. Plan outreach strategy and represent RHFAC at industry events and speaking engagements.
- Data, Reporting & Evaluation: Oversee and implement data management strategies, apply evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness, and report outcomes and impact for management, board and funders.
- Financial & Revenue: Manage program budgets, funding streams, and forecasts in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Oversee revenue operations, including proposal management.
- Systems & Operations: Maintain operational efficiency and oversee continuous improvement of processes, procedures and technology platforms related to RHFAC certification/ratings.
- Other Duties: Performs other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
An equivalent combination of education, experience and skills/behaviours will be considered.
Education:
- University degree in Business or Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree an asset.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Minimum 7 years of program management experience, project planning, or other relevant experience.
- Strong experience in developing and leading teams.
- Strong experience in building relationships and partnerships to further strategic objectives.
- Experience in directing marketing/outreach strategies and overseeing execution.
- Experience and knowledge in financial planning and management.
- Experience in data management, evaluation and reporting.
- Experience in acquiring and maintaining web-based technology platforms.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other MS Apps) and a customer relationship management system such a Salesforce.
- Fluency in French, oral and written, an asset.
- Not-for-profit experience is an asset.
- Understanding and sensitivity of issues relating to people with disabilities an asset.
