About the role
Scaling to $1B ARR and beyond means we need to build a robust PLG motion in addition to our very strong sales funnels. This allows us to move downmarket as well and be a solution that works for companies of all sizes!
As the person leading our self-serve growth strategy, you’ll be responsible for owning the end to end strategy for growing our adoption of a new PLG motion. This includes members from marketing, product & GTM roles. Your team will be responsible for generating high quality leads and revenue generation through product led growth with limited sales interaction.
This is an incredible role for someone looking to take a team from 0>1 and beyond; we’re looking for an entrepreneurial leader with strong general manager chops to take the reins, prove out this product and growth motion and invest in strategy.
Success in role means diving in and landing quick wins, then identifying big bets to accelerate revenue generation.
What you will do
- Develop the strategy and execute a plan to maximize the outcomes of a product led growth motion at Rippling to sign up and go straight to using our full functionality.
- You’ll build an experimentation engine within your team that fuels scale and efficiency gains; you’ll optimize via test and learn.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build and iterate on campaigns. Partner closely with growth stakeholders to execute campaigns specific to PLG and tap into existing campaign infrastructure while sharing learnings and reporting out on results.
- Partner with analytics to create a measurement ecosystem that allows us to track leading indicators and KPIs throughout the entire funnel and maximize our ROI.
- Own the outcomes driven by marketing, growth and product on our self serve attainment.
What you will need
- 6+ years of experience in growth, product, PLG, building companies or general management. Must have experience owning an end to end product.
- Proven ability to build product marketing fit and scale distribution from owned and unowned channels. Previous experience starting and scaling a company is a plus.
- You are a self-starter with a bias towards action who is able to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Superb cross-functional collaboration and project management skills. From Day 1, you’ll need to align stakeholders across multiple teams—many of which may have competing priorities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- You sweat the details - small and big.
- A creative spark. While analytical chops are critical to your success, we also pride ourselves on being able to think outside the box.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done.
- A nice to have is demonstrated excellence in hiring, building, and retaining world-class teams. While you will initially own a matrixed team, you will eventually need to be able to build and lead a team.
