Automated Growth Associate
Rippling
About Rippling
Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.
Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.
We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.
About the role
Data and workflow automations are particularly powerful inside of Rippling’s growth engine because we (1) have a massive total addressable market (everyone needs payroll), (2) support hundreds of sellers across 30+ different products, (3) have the resourcing and reputation of a business that has raised almost $2B.
We are looking for a growth associate to collaborate with our growth engineers and support the growth roadmap of automation, intent signals, experimentation and more to help Rippling continue on its rocketship growth trajectory.
You will be responsible for our referral channel, other hacky experiments, and contributing across the rest of the automated growth team (SEO & LLM optimization, automated email, intent signals, etc).
We are looking for a high IQ, curious and hacky generalist. You don’t need prior experience in growth or marketing - but you should have past experience driving measurable outcomes and doing technical work. You’ll impact a very high-leverage part of Rippling’s growth machine as you learn about marketing, sales, and GTM Engineering. This is a perfect role for anyone who loves building, growing revenue, systems thinking, and getting things done. You should apply if you want to become a world-class growth leader.
What you will do
- Take over our referral program and build an experimentation roadmap to improve its success by an order of magnitude
- Figure out how to leverage Ripping’s large customer and user base as an amplification engine to drive revenue
- Ideate + take on experimental high-upside projects
- Experiment with tactics to improve win rates and deal acceleration post-qualified demo
- Support various work across the automated growth team, from SEO & LLM optimization projects to automated email and CRO tests
- Understand the GTM org and constantly look for new ways to help level up the entire GTM function at Rippling
- Work closely with growth engineering, marketing ops, revenue ops and sales to deliver impactful business outcomes
- Analyze data to understand what’s working and what’s not - from reading through replies to writing SQL and hopping into Excel.
What you will need
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in growth, marketing, GTM Engineering, product, engineering, or another analytical/intellectually challenging job function.
- Interest in becoming world-class at growth. You don’t need to have worked in growth before, but you should be excited to learn rapidly via challenging projects and have real ownership over business outcomes. You are motivated by the idea of owning a number and winning.
- Hackiness and creativity. You’re constantly generating new ideas to test and you do whatever it takes to get your projects over the finish line.
- Ability to analyze data to uncover insights, in SQL and Excel.
- Agility and speed. You’ll constantly try new growth ideas in this role. When things don’t work, you pivot; when they do, you move fast to scale them.
- A product mindset. Manual processes bother you, and you have a track record of automating them. You are a naturally structured problem-solver.
- Naturally curious. You are a hacker at heart with a history of running down random rabbit holes purely out of interest.
