About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About the role

Rippling is seeking a Deal Operations Manager to join our growing Revenue Strategy & Operations team.

Deal Operations at Rippling covers many traditional Deal Desk responsibilities while also driving cross-functional projects that shape our Quote-to-Cash processes. This role blends hands-on deal support with project ownership, stakeholder coordination, and operational problem-solving. You’ll play a critical role in scaling the operational foundation that enables our sales team to move faster and more efficiently. As Rippling continues to grow, this function will serve as a key partner in ensuring our processes evolve in lockstep with the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate has experience in fast-paced organizations—ideally at a multi-product SaaS company—and a track record of making measurable impact within a sales organization. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, working under tight timelines, and operating both independently and collaboratively.

This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to influence strategic initiatives across a rapidly scaling sales org.

What you will do

  • Serve as front-line support for sales reps on CPQ, quoting, and contracting issues.
  • Maintain and continuously improve documentation for Deal Operations processes and policies.
  • Own the creation and upkeep of a centralized “Deal Operations Hub” as the primary resource for reps.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Billing Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deal execution.
  • Source, scope, and lead projects that drive measurable impact across Revenue Operations and the broader Sales organization.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the Quote-to-Cash workflow and propose scalable, data-backed solutions.
  • Collaborate with systems teams to influence CPQ and Salesforce enhancements that improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor deal trends, exceptions, and edge cases to guide policy updates and operational improvements.
  • Support new product, pricing, and packaging launches by ensuring downstream processes and documentation are ready.
  • Drive enablement by training reps on quoting best practices, new tools, and updated policies.

What you will need

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in operations, Deal Desk, revenue strategy, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience owning or operating a Deal Desk function within Salesforce
  • Hands-on expertise with CPQ platforms, including configuration, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.
  • Deep familiarity with SaaS business models, including multi-product packaging, pricing, and go-to-market motions
