Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

About the role
We’re seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support our expanding India team. This is a junior HRBP role, designed for someone who will work closely with and act as a second-in-line to the HR Business Partners, supporting them in the execution of their people agenda.
With our headcount having tripled last year and expected to double again this year, you’ll play a meaningful role in helping scale HR programs in a fast-growing environment. You’ll join an HR function that is in build mode, focused on getting ahead of the business’s people needs, and gain hands-on exposure to HR business partnering while learning directly from experienced HRBPs. It’s an exciting time to join and grow with us.
This role follows a hybrid model, with expectations of being on-site at our Bangalore office 3 fixed days per week.
What you will do
- Execute and operationalize HR programs (performance management, employee engagement, manager development, organizational changes) in close partnership with HR Business Partners.
- Act as the primary owner for day-to-day HR execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered accurately, on time, and at scale.
- Support HR Business Partners by driving follow-ups, tracking actions, preparing data, and managing execution details tied to the people agenda.
- Serve as the first line of HR support for employees and managers, handling routine HR matters independently and escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Identify recurring employee or manager issues and implement practical, process-driven solutions.
- Own the documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR processes and resources in Confluence to enable self-service.
- Drive efficiency by streamlining, automating, and standardizing HR workflows as the organization scales.
- Provide consistent HR process and policy support across India teams, ensuring adherence and operational consistency.
What you will need
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or junior HR Business Partner role, with a strong emphasis on execution and delivery.
- A clear interest in growing into an HR Business Partner role, with motivation to learn through hands-on execution and exposure.
- Demonstrated ability to own HR processes end-to-end, while learning when and how to escalate or seek guidance.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with employees and managers at all levels.
- Experience using HR systems and tools (HRIS, performance management platforms, engagement surveys, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a high-growth environment.
- A detail-oriented, process-driven mindset, paired with curiosity and a continuous improvement approach.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a practical, solutions-focused attitude.
