- Identify bottlenecks, implement lean improvements, and reduce waste across manufacturing operations
- Support the scale-up of production from pilot to full-scale
- Maintain and update process documentation as part of QMS requirements
Quality & Technical Problem Solving
- Collaborate with the Quality team to improve process capability and resolve root causes of defects
- Develop and monitor in-process quality control metrics and support SPC initiatives
- Lead DOE and other data-driven investigations into process performance
Cross-functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with R&D, operations, and procurement teams to support the development and transfer of new products into production
- Recommend and implement upgrades to equipment or processes to improve safety, throughput, or yield
- Contribute to internal audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement programs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar field)
- 2–5 years of experience in a process, manufacturing, or production engineering role (recent grads will not be considered)
- Familiarity with QMS systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process validation, and root cause analysis techniques
- Self-motivated and able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced production environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience with wire processing technologies (e.g., drawing, annealing, etching, shaping) is an asset
