As a Sales Manager, your pivotal role encompasses the management of sales activities and the cultivation of enduring customer relationships. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, your mandate extends to both nurturing existing business partnerships and spearheading the acquisition of new programmatic advertising revenue from agencies and brands. To excel in this capacity, a keen comprehension of each client's long-term objectives is essential, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying lucrative partnership opportunities that foster their business growth with StackAdapt.
Collaboration with StackAdapt Account Managers is integral to your success, as you work in tandem to forge and sustain robust client connections. Moreover, you will play a central role in presenting innovative campaign strategies and bespoke solutions, all the while dedicated to expanding and retaining our existing account base.
What you'll be doing:
- Leverage deep understanding of local market dynamics to drive strategic regional expansion efforts.
- Identify, pitch, and successfully close new platform sales deals with local agencies and brands, tailoring proposals to address specific needs.
- Collaborate closely with management and product teams to provide input for region-specific product development, ensuring alignment with market demands.
- Offer guidance and recommendations for region-specific improvements, informed by direct client interactions and market observations.
- Proactively manage existing client relationships, nurturing trust and seeking opportunities for account growth.
- Partner with StackAdapt Account Managers to devise and execute tailored client retention strategies, presenting innovative campaign solutions to drive client success.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Digital advertising sales experience - programmatic is a plus!
- 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and/ or Advertising Technology
- Experience in business development & sales experience in Programmatic
- Utilized various CRM tools to build a robust pipeline and ensured ongoing client satisfaction, renewal and opportunity discovery
- Experience building client pitch decks (and the associated research) to close new business
- Track record of success in a quota carrying environment
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts and platform-based knowledge
- Willing to travel occasionally to meet with clients within the region
