StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

The Senior Account Manager (SR AM) plays a pivotal role in post-sales client relationships—driving platform adoption, campaign performance, and account growth. You’ll oversee a portfolio of strategic clients, primarily from major Holdcos such as Dentsu, Hakuhodo DY Group, ADK, WPP, Publicis, and IPG, and act as a trusted advisor who ensures StackAdapt delivers measurable success across both managed and self-service engagements.

You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives, the Global Client Services (GCS) team, and cross-functional partners such as Ad Operations, Creative Strategy, and Data Analytics to optimize campaign ROI, build client trust, and identify growth opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing:

Client Strategy & Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Japan-based Gold+ clients.
  • Lead post-sales strategy including user adoption, campaign management, and account expansion.
  • Build multi-threaded relationships with agency stakeholders across seniority levels.
  • Proactively identify client needs, providing strategic counsel and data-driven insights to exceed performance goals.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), performance presentations, and client education sessions.

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Manage end-to-end campaign setup, including trafficking, third-party tag implementation, and pixel troubleshooting.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend data-backed solutions to improve ROI.
  • Develop innovative campaign strategies leveraging StackAdapt’s multi-channel capabilities (Display, Video, Native, Connected TV, DOOH, and Audio).
  • Provide best practices for campaign design, attribution, and measurement using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and third-party ad servers.

Collaboration & Internal Leadership

  • Work closely with Account Executives, GCS, and cross-functional teams to drive client success and retention.
  • Lead internal initiatives to improve operational efficiency, share insights, and standardize optimization frameworks.
  • Mentor junior Account Managers—supporting skill development, troubleshooting, and client strategy discussions.
  • Contribute to team enablement by sharing optimization best practices and client success stories.

Account Growth & Retention

  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving account expansion through consultative selling.
  • Monitor client business changes (e.g., funding rounds, acquisitions, leadership shifts) to uncover new growth areas.
  • Manage renewals and deliver sustained quarter-over-quarter growth across your client base.
  • Leverage insights to help clients discover new revenue opportunities before they do.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 6+ years of experience in programmatic media buying, client success, or account management.
  • Proven expertise in campaign optimization and performance strategy within DSPs or agency environments.
  • Strong understanding of Japan’s digital advertising ecosystem and Holdco organizational structures.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English; ability to lead presentations and QBRs in both languages.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to craft insights from performance data.
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (~20%) for client meetings and industry events.
