StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter to join our growing Content & Web team.

This is a cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate with marketing partners across Design, Growth, and Digital to bring our brand voice, tone, and storytelling to life across every channel, including web pages, blogs, emails, social, video scripts, ads, and campaign landing pages.

As a writer on the team, you’ll help ensure our content is clear, compelling, and consistent across all prospect-facing touchpoints. With a large team to collaborate with, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior writers, content strategists, and web leads to translate content ideas and brand narratives into copy that inspires, educates, and converts. You’ll own writing copy for projects end-to-end and operate confidently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—producing high-quality copy efficiently across multiple channels with minimal guidance, supporting rapid content production for campaigns, landing pages, and digital experiences while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities to meet deadlines.

StackAdapt is a remote-first company, and we're open to candidates located anywhere within Canada or the United States.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Write engaging, on-brand copy for a range of marketing channels including blogs, web pages, landing pages, videos, emails, paid ads, social media, and event materials.
  • Collaborate with the Content Strategist and Web Manager to adapt narratives and campaigns for digital experiences and lead generation programs.
  • Develop concise, compelling, and conversion-focused copy aligned to campaign goals and the buyer journey.
  • Support the content and editorial team by writing high-quality content for StackAdapt’s website and earned media articles, informed by SEO research, audience insights, and performance data.
  • Proofread and edit copy for grammar, flow, and clarity, while applying brand/content guidelines to ensure a consistent voice across teams and channels.
  • Partner with Design and Digital teams to concept and test copy variations (subject lines, CTAs, headlines).
  • Ensure all copy is optimized for clarity, engagement, SEO, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Growth, Design, and Product Marketing to ensure consistency and alignment across campaigns.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from intake and research through drafting, review, launch, and iteration.
  • Manage timelines, feedback loops, and approvals with minimal oversight.
  • Make recommendations (not just execute requests) when project briefs are unclear.
  • Interview internal subject matter experts and turn complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 3–5 years writing for B2B audiences (SaaS/tech preferred), across both demand gen and brand storytelling.
  • A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong grasp of grammar and tone.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different formats, audiences, and stages of the buyer journey.
  • Experience writing for web, video, email, social, and digital ads, with an understanding of how each channel differs.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with design, digital, and brand teams.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of content projects efficiently
  • Ability to write with performance in mind, balancing search intent and on-page SEO with copy that engages and converts through clear structure, logical flow, and compelling calls to action.
  • Curiosity about how copy performance ties to engagement and conversions.
  • Comfortable testing, learning, and iterating to improve results.
  • Experience using AI to speed up workflows and assist in ideation, creation, and editing.
  • Experience with writing and project management tools such as Google Docs and Asana (bonus: experience with HubSpot, CMS platforms, or SEO tools like Semrush).
  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to write clear, creative, and compelling copy.
