The Project Manager, IT & Operations role is a key member of StackAdapt’s IT & Operations team, leading cross-functional projects that help our business scale through better processes, systems, and ways of working. You’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that span teams such as Sales, Client Success, Finance, Product, Legal, Procurement, and InfoSec.
A successful Project Manager at StackAdapt is someone who can bring structure to complex work, keep stakeholders aligned, and move projects forward with clarity and accountability. You’ll help scope requirements, manage timelines and dependencies, identify risks, and ensure projects are delivered with measurable business impact. This role is also a great opportunity for someone who is curious about AI, automation, and how emerging tools can improve productivity across the organization.
StackAdapt is a remote-first company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the planning and execution of cross-functional IT and business projects from intake through delivery
- Partnering with teams across Sales, Client Success, Finance, Product, Legal, Procurement, InfoSec, and others to align on project goals, requirements, timelines, and outcomes
- Managing project plans, workstreams, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Supporting RFPs, ROI analysis, vendor assessments, and implementation planning for SaaS tools and business systems
- Using AI assistants and automation tools to improve research, documentation, workflows, and day-to-day project productivity
- Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leaders, including progress, risks, decisions, and next steps
- Measuring project outcomes and supporting post-project evaluations against business goals and expected ROI
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Experience managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong project management fundamentals, with the ability to balance best practices with practical, outcomes-focused execution
- Experience managing multiple complex projects at once, ideally across global or distributed teams
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring clarity and alignment to complex work
- Experience working with SaaS tools and business systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, or similar platforms
- Curiosity and hands-on experience using AI or automation tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Workato, or similar tools to improve efficiency
- Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and bring structure to ambiguous situations
- Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms
- A degree in Business Administration, International Business, Management, or a related field is preferred
- PMP, CAPM, CSM, or similar project management certifications are considered an asset
The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.
This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Factors Influencing Final Compensation:
- The final compensation offer will be determined by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the candidate's specific experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant education, licensure, and certifications.
- Other business factors, such as organizational needs and budget alignment, may also be considered in the final offer.
