Summary

We are currently looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team. This position will assume a wide variety of marketing responsibilities with an emphasis on event coordination, CRM, website management, social media, and special projects. There will be some administrative tasks with this role. The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be collaborative, professional, positive, and adaptable.

*Please note this opportunity is for a current student enrolled in a Marketing or related degree program and is a 4 month (May - August) contract*

Duties & Responsibilities

Events Management

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing events, trade shows, and

conferences.

• Help with event registrations, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-ups.

• Contribute to event marketing strategies, including email campaigns and social media

promotions.

Social Media Management

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across company social media channels.

• Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and track performance metrics.

• Research trends and provide content ideas to enhance brand presence.

Website Management

• Assist in updating website content, including blog posts, landing pages, and product

information.

• Ensure website accuracy and alignment with brand messaging.

• Work with the team to optimize website SEO and user experience.

• Monitor website analytics and suggest improvements based on data.

Presentation Development

• Create visually engaging presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Manager Comms and IR

• Support the business development team with sales materials.

• Ensure brand consistency across all presentation materials.

• Assist in gathering data, case studies, and visuals for impactful storytelling.

CRM

• Assist in maintaining and updating customer and lead databases.

• Help with email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and personalization.

• Support data analysis and reporting on customer interactions and engagement.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business,

or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, X).

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

• Familiarity with website management platforms (Webflow or similar).

• Basic knowledge of customer relationship management or email marketing platforms

(HubSpot or similar).

• Ability to analyze data and provide insights on marketing performance.

Additional Qualities:

• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.

• Spanish language proficiency is an asset.

• Engineering or chemistry experience is an asset.
