In addition to assisting in the acquisition partners and potential sponsors, the Coordinator will also be supporting, maintaining, and cultivating the highest levels of engagement from the existing WTC-T and Board networks to grow the profile of the Trade and Growth Programs. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented coordinator with some experience in sales or recruitment.
Role Description:
- Support Sr. Business Development Managers in partnership activities and identifying and recruiting participants, members, clients, and partners.
- Manage relationships with key partners, ensuring commitments are met and CRM records are updated.
- Lead in identifying and recruiting potential participants, members and clients for the World Trade Centre Toronto
- Research and identify new engagement opportunities while supporting monthly activity targets.
- Enhance client value through sales support, referral activities, and executing marketing initiatives.
- Attend industry events to expand the WTC-T network and maintain professional knowledge.
- Liaise with other departments, including Stakeholder Relations and Trade and Growth Programs.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s reputation.
- Support alumni activities, including event coordination and communication efforts.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales support, business development, or partnership roles.
- Strong sales, persuasion, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in various software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Professional handling of inquiries and concerns, with the ability to manage confidential information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of international market developments.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Valid passport and Canadian Driver’s License; ability to travel internationally (5%).
