Position Description:

The Toronto Region Board of Trade (The Board) is seeking a Sales & Partnership Enablement Manager to support the Board’s membership sales and partnership strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, Membership and Partnership, this role is responsible for supporting the sales team by creating and managing sales proposals and presentations, performing research, and providing operational support to streamline the sales process and ensure a positive experience for TRBOT stakeholders.

Role Description:

  • Working with sales reps, create, manage, and maintain high-impact sales decks, proposals, and presentation materials tailored to client and partner needs, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and content improvements
  • Monitor the delivery of partner commitments and sponsorship obligations, ensuring timelines are met and progress is communicated regularly to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain partnership-related templates and toolkits, including training materials, summary reports, proposals and customized communications
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support sales strategies and identify new client opportunities
  • Track, manage, and distribute leads that come in from event and marketing activities, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking aligned with sales team priorities
  • Establish and enhance internal workflows to facilitate coordination between departments in support of sales pitches, sponsorship acquisition and delivery, and membership retention and acquisition
  • Provide responsive support for member and partner inquiries, ensuring a high-quality stakeholder experience
  • Support the Sales team by coordinating special projects, including liaising with internal departments and external collaborators, assisting with partnership agreements, and managing documentation and deliverables
  • Provide operational support, including through contracting/invoice process, sponsor sign-off, document management and archiving, and oversight of the general sponsorship inbox, with a focus on process optimization
  • Support all TRBOT events (e.g., webinars, podiums, workshops, roundtables, and symposiums), including registrations, coordinating logistics with the Events and Marketing/Communications team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your experience includes:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales support, partnership coordination, business development operations, or related roles
  • Proven experience creating and managing compelling sales decks, presentations, and proposal documents
  • Strong project coordination skills, with experience managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders across departments
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve operational processes and workflows
  • Experience supporting event planning or logistics coordination for internal or client-facing meetings and webinars
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Dynamics preferred) and lead tracking systems
  • Experience with document management and version control practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to support sales efforts
  • Comfortable liaising with senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams in a professional manner
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a membership-based organization, B2B sales environment, or nonprofit sector is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

TRBOT is committed to fair, equitable pay that matches the responsibility and expertise behind every role.

This role has an annual salary range of $75,000 to $110,000.
