Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, the Data Analyst is responsible for helping our customers make data-related recommendations and derive maximum value from Trulioo’s service offering. This includes data review, visualization, outcome-based recommendations as well as client-facing presentations and collaboration across Trulioo’s business teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conduct data studies to evaluate customer performance and apply critical thinking to assess, identify options, and make outcome-based recommendations.
  • Tell powerful stories from extracted and researched data to our enterprise customers using a variety of visual aids, interactive dashboards, and/or written reports.
  • Examine data to identify trends, exceptions, and areas for further investigation.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders both orally and in writing, to translate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of systematic processes to help the team scale efficiently.

You have:

  • Experience in gathering, cleaning, researching, and reporting on data; including a demonstrated ability to identify appropriate statistical review for large datasets, visualization of the data, and measurement goals.
  • 2 years experience in reporting and data review.
  • 2 years experience or equivalent working with relational databases in a SQL environment.
  • 2 years experience or equivalent creating and presenting reports using a Business Intelligence tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Looker, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; able to perform pivot tables, pivot charts, and advanced functions in MS Excel and other visualization tools.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and ability to reasonably scan, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions with a high level of detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a customer-oriented, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bonus: experience working with a scripting language such as Python or R in a combination of professional and/or self-taught environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business with a quantitative specialization or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Please view the base salary range for this role below. The range listed is our expected compensation for the role. However, the pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
