Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 (with additional benefits such as bonuses, pension, etc.)

Reporting to the Director, Donor Recognition and Stewardship, the Coordinator, Donor Experience will support The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation’s stewardship program, as well as contributing to projects and processes that support best-in-class donor experiences. This person will possess strong experience in donor relations, provide innovative and strategic thinking, and will use results-driven approaches to inform continuous improvements.

As a member of the Donor Experience and Stewardship Team, the Coordinator, Donor Experience, will provide overall support to the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor deliverables outlined in gift agreements, adding where necessary to stewardship plans in the CRM system
  • Track all activities in stewardship engagement plans for Major Gift donors in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Major Gift Fundraisers and members of the donor experience team to ensure implementation of stewardship engagement plans.
  • Assist in maintaining the annual impact reporting calendar to ensure timely delivery of donor reports.
  • Prepare donor communication lists for review, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Coordinate team-related activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and supporting administrative needs for the Associate Vice President, Donor Experience & Stewardship, and the Director, Donor Recognition and Stewardship.
  • Responsible for running reports to monitor impact reporting and help inform stewardship related activities.
  • Build and maintain a centralized resource library of team procedures, reports, templates, and documentation.
  • Support the documentation and ongoing updates of stewardship processes and procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity of the CRM by ensuring donor records are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and report on industry best practices in donor relations and stewardship.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance donor engagement.

Qualifications

  • Completion of undergraduate/graduate degree or equivalent work experience with 2+ years working in donor relations or operations in the non-profit sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience working within a CRM
  • Experience using creative platforms like In-Design, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage internal colleagues and donors
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities, with experience working cross-functionally and across all levels of an organization.
  • Project coordination expertise, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and navigate ambiguity with confidence
