We are seeking a highly skilled Decision Intelligence Product Manager to join our dynamic team at University Health Network (UHN). As a leader in Business Intelligence and Automation, we are dedicated to harnessing the power of data to drive informed decision-making, enhance care quality, and improve patient safety and experience.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing and delivering data products that enable UHN to better understand, monitor, and improve patient safety and care quality. You will work closely with cross-functional partners including clinical and executive leaders, data storytellers, technical analysts, data engineers, and decision support specialists to ensure that our data products align with organizational priorities.

Duties

  • Define and execute a clear roadmap for the development and delivery of data products. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and functionalities that align with organizational priorities and strategic goals.
  • Partner with stakeholders across clinical, business, and operational areas to understand their needs and translate them into impactful data products. Champion user experience to ensure products deliver value and meet expectations.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation and conceptualization to delivery and iteration. Partner with data scientists, engineers, and designers to translate requirements into actionable plans and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, to drive innovation in product design and delivery. Explore new opportunities to automate processes, generate predictive insights, and create forward-looking decision intelligence tools.
  • Develop strategies to increase adoption and engagement of data products across the organization.
  • Stay at the forefront of Business Intelligence, Decision Intelligence, Data Storytelling and Product Management best practices. Continuously improve processes, methodologies, and technologies to ensure UHN maintains a competitive edge in leveraging data for healthcare excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Health Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field. Postgraduate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in product management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading the solution design, delivery, implementation of analytics products.
  • Strong understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Decision Intelligence concepts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
