Position Summary

The Total Rewards team at UHN is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join as a Total Rewards Coordinator on a temporary full-time basis. This role plays an important part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Total Rewards team, with a primary focus on benefits administration and related activities. The role helps ensure employees receive timely and accurate access to their benefits, while also supporting cyclical processes and ongoing improvement initiatives.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data accuracy, and learning the full spectrum of total rewards programs in a large, complex organization.

Duties

  • Monitor and manage the Benefits inbox, responding to inquiries or triaging requests and escalating appropriately.
  • Process benefits transactions (e.g. enrolments, status changes, dependents, and address updates) in the Sun Life employer portal.
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices by verifying data, preparing payment requests, and coordinating with Finance.
  • Support the Senior Benefits Specialist in maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring service quality and accuracy.
  • Assist with benefits communications, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Provide support for cyclical activities such as annual open enrolment and other Total Rewards ad-hoc projects.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to broader Total Rewards initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources function.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
