Duties

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your assigned client groups—including physicians—building lasting relationships and delivering expert guidance that drives business results.
  • Showcase your problem-solving skills by pinpointing root causes and pioneering creative solutions that drive organizational success.
  • Identify cutting-edge opportunities, resolve complex issues, and facilitate impactful initiatives for your business partners.
  • Drive transformative impact through end-to-end involvement in workplace investigations, performance management, workforce planning, and employee/labor relations, ensuring excellence and consistency across your portfolio.
  • Team up with talented Centers of Excellence to provide in-depth analysis, strategic advice, and hands-on implementation support to empower your clients and team members.
  • Continuously contribute to meaningful People & Culture projects and cross-functional activities, seizing opportunities to influence the future of our organization.
  • Champion the consistent administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring excellence across your portfolio.

Deliver results that matter—determine root causes, solve problems creatively, and turn challenges into opportunities for organizational growth and success.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or an equivalent combination of post secondary education and progressive HR experience
  • 3–5 years of hands-on HR and labor relations success in unionized settings, collaborating with professional workforces and regulatory bodies.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and influencing skills—you engage, inspire, and deliver outstanding customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Masterful at juggling priorities, owning your schedule, and staying organized while working at pace in a dynamic, team-driven environment.
  • Deep understanding of organizational behavior and forward-thinking HR strategies that empower others and shape high-performing teams.
  • Proven expertise in conflict resolution, troubleshooting complex issues, and navigating grievance and arbitration processes with finesse.
  • Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act, Hospital Industrial Labour Disputes Act, Employment Standards Act, Worker’s Compensation Act, human rights and other relevant legislation.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in partnership with diverse, talented teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)—you leverage technology to present ideas and drive initiatives.
  • Experience in a health care environment is a distinct advantage, showcasing your ability to excel in complex, regulated workplaces.
