Salary Range: $65,919 - $70,389
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Status: Temporary Full-Time

Position Summary:
One (1) Research Analyst I position is available for 1 Year in the Rheumatology Research Program at the Toronto Western Hospital.
Duties:
- Participate in all aspects of patient booking, recruitment, consenting, data collection and reporting
- Effective and clear communicator over phone conversations, virtual calls, orally and email
- Generate meeting notes and action items to be shared with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide administrative support for recurring reports and meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas, calendar invitations, and supporting materials
- Communicating regularly with international collaborators, colleagues, and experts
- Manage invoicing and financial tracking related to research activities
- Establish attainable timelines and metrics for success
- Performing literature searches and abstracting data from literature
- Meet regularly with PI and project team members to discuss progress and address challenges
- Planning, implementing and coordinating all aspects of data collection
- Data entry into database and management of local database
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in a health related discipline, or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience
- Project coordination or project management experience is considered an asset
- Support the maintenance of project plans and operational documentation
- Prior research or clinical experience with study participants or patients with autoimmune diseases an asset
- Experience Entering, managing, and maintaining research data within electronic data capture systems (e.g., REDCap)
- Ability to perform basic data analysis and reporting
- Proficient in multiple coding languages would be an asset (Python, SQL, R, Java, C++, etc).
- Knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, including ICH/GCP, Tri-Council Policy & etc.
- Lead Research Ethics Board (REB) renewals and amendments, as required
- Previous experience working in a health care environment is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with a team and independently
