Department: Joint Department of Medical Imaging
Reports to: Manager, Planning and Operations
Salary Range: $23.14 - $28.92 Per Hour
Hours: 22.5 Hours Per Week
Shifts: Three (3) Days Per Week
Status: Temporary Part-Time
Closing Date: February 13, 2026

Position Summary:

Working under the direction of the Manager, Planning and Operations, the Administrative Assistant will perform duties supporting the medical imaging research department, including submission of HR forms, scheduling of meetings, entering billing information, collecting attendance information, and submitting payroll.

Duties:

  • Assist with the submission and completion of HR forms
  • Collect attendance information and prepare payroll
  • Assist with data entry and verification for billing purposes
  • Coordinate meetings and events, on site and off-site, under the direction of a senior member
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agenda and take minutes
  • Order and re-supply equipment and office consumables
  • Perform cross-functional responsibilities, as required
  • Follow up with UHN personnel and department to ensure successful completion of tasks and processes

Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 12 or recognized equivalent
  • Completion of a post-secondary office administration program at the diploma level, or equivalent
  • Two (2) years related administrative support experience
  • Previous on-the-job experience in an environment using Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working in a health care and/or research environment an asset
  • Very good organizational and time management skills
  • Very good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Very good verbal and written communications skills
  • Good knowledge of organizational/ office practices, procedures and standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work well under pressure and use good judgment in assessing difficult situations
