Salary Range: $37.47 - $46.84 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: 5 days per week

Status: Temporary Full-time (1 year)

Position Summary

The CorPath Study offers an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, motivated, and results-driven Clinical Research Coordinator I seeking a dynamic and challenging role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced research environment.

Applicants should have familiarity with cardiovascular disease, medical terminology. This role requires both precision and initiative, with responsibilities ranging from data management to participant screening and recruitment. As study priorities may evolve in response to funding agency requirements, the successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.

Duties

The Clinical Research Coordinator I will work closely with the study team to:

  • Screen, enroll, and follow participants through the informed consent process
  • Obtain medical histories and ensure protocol-specific testing is scheduled and completed
  • Prepare and maintain research files, complete case report forms, and document adverse events
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate data entry activities with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Provide recruitment and progress updates to study sponsors, including milestones toward enrollment targets
  • Actively support recruitment efforts, including in-services, development of marketing materials, and preparation of stakeholder reports
  • Monitor participant health status changes, triage concerns to the Study Physician as appropriate, and document findings
  • Conduct pre–coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) screening and triage to the Study Physician as required
  • Collaborate with the JDMI team to coordinate bookings related to study-initiated CCTA appointments
  • Perform cross-functional duties consistent with the job classification as assigned


Qualifications

  • Minimum, Bachelor’s degree, or recognized equivalent, in a health or science-related discipline, required; Master's an asset.
  • Minimum, 3 years clinical and/or professional experience, required
  • Strong aptitude for iOS apps, MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Experience with patient contact, communication, and informed consent in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular disease and medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Client-service orientation with demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse environments
  • Ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency with health monitoring devices and related health applications
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving abilities and openness to feedback
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data management software
  • Sound judgment, initiative, tact, and professionalism
  • High level of personal accountability, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality and research compliance standards
