Job Description

Reports to: Corporate Supply Chain Manager

Wage Range: $30.54 to $45.82 per hour.

Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week

Shifts: Days, with limited Evening Weekends for Project Work

Status: Permanent Full-Time

Position Summary

As a member of the OR multi – disciplinary team the ORSC Supervisor practices in accordance with Supply Chain industry leading practice standards. The role provides people, process, technology and patient safety supply chain leadership. Supply reliability and financial management are key to the oversight of the 15+ thousand Pyxis supply items consisting of, Cardinal Value Link Stock items, Non- Stock Direct, and Consignment and owned Direct Order Implants.

Duties

  • Provides leadership for the OR Supply Chain team consisting of union Inventory Aide’s and non- union Implant Specialists.
  • Provides Technical leadership for the Pyxis supply system, hardware, software and integration. The clinically integrated system consists of 4 interfaces and 3 systems (SAP, Pyxis and EPIC).
  • Generates Pyxis reports and data (KPI’s) to support Supply Chain management from a clinical, operational, financial and patient safety perspective.
  • Manages Pyxis installations, builds, conversions, and moves in conjunction with BD and the clinical team.
  • Participates in OR, Procurement team contract meetings, and coordinates contract conversions and data to align with supply standardization and operational efficiency. Works with Contracts, Data team and ORSC Data Analyst.
  • Generates Pyxis Finance year end reporting.
  • Supports ORSC Manager with recall notifications in the One Recall System.
  • Provides Pyxis education and support to the OR Educator and ORSC team.
  • Maintains vendor relationships.
  • Works in collaboration with the multi –disciplinary OR Leadership team on supply chain projects and initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Supply chain designation or equivalent work experience
  • Technical experience working in a Pyxis Supply – clinically integrated environment required
  • OR Supply Chain experience required
  • Effective organizational/prioritization skills, ability to plan work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to meet frequent deadlines and changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and be flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent computer skills
