Salary: $18.67 to $22.24 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Day; Monday to Friday
Status: Temporary Full-Time

Duties:

  • Supports the VIRCAN Program studies by assisting with data management, analysis, and research coordination
  • Assists in data collection and source documentation following UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Executes study-related administrative tasks
  • Enters clinical research data into databases
  • Applies fundamental knowledge of research principles, theories, and concepts
  • Identifies problems using assessment skills and report any abnormalities to the Clinical Research Coordinator/VIRCAN Manager
  • Applies knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, such as ICH/GCP guidelines, Tri-Council Policy, Declaration of Helsinki and FDA CFR and Health Canada TPD
  • Has knowledge of medical terminology and/or dealing with regulatory issues
  • Works under the supervision of senior staff, exercises moderate judgment and decision-making in utilizing established policies and procedures to resolve problems.

Ideal for students seeking hands-on clinical research experience in a leading liver disease center.

Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older, per UHN policy
  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Postgraduate program
  • Appointment runs between May and August 2026
  • Clinical research experience and data management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office & EDC systems (e.g. REDCap Medidata Rave)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
