Position Summary
University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Coordinator III (Nurse) to join our dynamic clinical research team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination and execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination and execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Duties
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of clinical research studies from start-up to close-out
- Perform clinical assessments, administer study interventions, and monitor patient safety
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), institutional policies, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including case report forms and source documents
- Liaise with investigators, sponsors and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with study audits & monitoring visits
- Clinical Aspects
- Educate patients on IVIG and SCIG therapies, including the treatment process and expectations
- Utilize EPIC to enter patient orders for IVIG and SCIG treatments, ensuring accurate dosage calculations
- Collaborate with the infusion clinic, blood bank, Canadian Blood Services, physician clinics, and patient support programs to coordinate treatment
- Work closely with clinic physicians to monitor patients’ ongoing treatment regimens and symptoms, addressing concerns to ensure timely and effective interventions
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) required; Master’s degree considered an asset
- Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience, required
- At least years of research experience required
- Proficient in phlebotomy, IV insertion, and operation of infusion pumps
- Familiar with IVIG and/or SCIg (preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in clinical research coordination preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
