  • Prepare and/or review HST and PST returns for applicable jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and/or review U.S. state sales tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely filing across relevant states.
  • Review U.S. federal and state corporate income tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and filing requirements.
  • Monitor and assess nexus exposure in U.S. states and ensure compliance with varying state tax rules and filing obligations.
  • Stay current with changes in tax legislation and assist in implementing process improvements to maintain compliance and minimize risk.

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Oversee day-to-day treasury and accounts payable processes.
  • Mentor and coach finance team members, helping them develop their technical and analytical skills while promoting curiosity, accountability, and collaboration.

Who You Are

  • CPA designation with a minimum of 4+ years experience in accounting and finance.
  • Proven technical accounting expertise (ASPE preferred) and proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Hands-on experience leading or managing an audit process from start to finish.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail; you take pride in producing high-quality, trusted work.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong judgement—you enjoy solving complex problems with minimal guidance.
  • Highly organized and efficient; you thrive on meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative communicator who builds strong, respectful relationships across teams.
  • Excited by innovation—you’re curious about how AI and automation can support the evolution of modern finance.
  • Experience working in a remote environment with distributed teams.
  • Bonus: Interest or background in the health, wellness, or mindfulness industries.
  • Desire to laugh, have fun, and celebrate others.

Don't meet every single requirement? That’s ok. At Unyte, we are more interested in who you are as a person than whether your past experiences align perfectly to the job description.
