Job Description

We’re looking for a Revenue Operations (RevOps) Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Director of RevOps, this role is at the heart of our business, working closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of sales processes and alignment with broader business goals.

The RevOps Manager will run and improve critical Revenue processes like funnel optimization, performance insights, capacity management (quota, commission, incentives), and forecasting. As part of a fast-growing company, you’ll play a pivotal role in our efforts to scale our sales function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Improve sales funnel performance

    • Drive top-of-funnel weekly/daily operating rhythms to ensure leads are being processed rapidly (monitor end of day SLAs and quality of engagement, keep managers accountable), troubleshoot any roadblock, and partner with frontline managers to improve performance

    • Organize pipeline generation tactical playbooks and events positively impacting top-of-funnel, such as Demand Generation Days, and drive new initiatives to accelerate pipeline generation and streamline account executive prospecting activities.

    • Design solutions from top to bottom-of-funnel, manage timelines, partner on key decisions, issues, implementation, adoption and documentation (e.g. working with sales leaders to identify and execute promising salesplays)

    • Work with the finance team to manage and refine commission structures to ensure timeline payment, fairness and motivate sales performance.

    • Facilitate Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes, ensuring clear communication and alignment between sales teams and the overarching business strategy.

  2. Deliver actionable insights from sales data:

    • Lead comprehensive analysis initiatives to deliver actionable insights that empower the sales team and executive leadership in strategic decision-making

    • Scope, design, and implement new reporting assets and dashboards, championing their adoption among the sales team and leadership.

    • Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, ensuring alignment with organizational KPIs and presenting insights on performance and potential risks and pitfalls.

  3. Optimize Revenue processes and tools:

    • Diagnose process inefficiencies and identify platform-based solutions, working with our Sales Ops Specialist to develop requirements and execute solutions

    • Improve our sales tools usage across the different Sales Motions, ensure that they deliver their maximum value, from improvement project to enablement.

    • Overseeing territory design and book of business management to align with business objectives; and operationalize “dynamic books of business”.

    • Identify tool automation opportunities and workflows, and work with the team’s infrastructure specialists to develop/implement them

  4. Help develop Vention’s GTM strategy and capability:

    • Play a pivotal role in upcoming organizational changes, ensuring the sales and Revenue Operations functions scales effectively as Vention grows

    • Support the Director of Sales Operations during the annual planning cycle with critical analysis and insights, leading the execution of new initiatives and improvement projects, and supporting key sales events like the annual Sales Kick-Off.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar role, ideally in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce, Gong and Salesloft. Working knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into actionable business strategies and tactics.
  • Experience in territory design, commission structures, and process improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, marketing, and leadership.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong experience with the Office suite (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
