Job Description

As a Lead Quality Engineer - Electrical at Vention…

You'll drive the quality strategy for Vention’s electrical products, ensuring reliability, safety, and consistency across our rapidly scaling automation platform. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues, lead root-cause investigations, and implement long-term improvements that elevate our customer experience. Your work will directly influence product performance across thousands of factories worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll lead root-cause investigations for electrical product quality issues, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term corrective actions.
  • You’ll design and execute test plans, validation protocols, and reliability programs for new and existing products.
  • You’ll collaborate with Engineering to improve product specifications, strengthen designs, and support continuous improvement.
  • You’ll partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to monitor supplier performance, evaluate quality metrics, and implement preventive measures.
  • You’ll own the documentation and reporting for quality processes, including non-conformances, CAPAs, test results, and performance metrics.
  • You’ll mentor junior team members, elevate quality practices across the organization, and contribute to building a world-class electrical quality function.

Qualifications

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics (degree or equivalent experience).
  • Strong expertise in electrical systems, failure analysis, and reliability testing.
  • Hands-on experience with root-cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA).
  • Experience working closely with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical investigations and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience with UL, CE, or other electrical compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with PCB-level testing, power electronics, or automation systems.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced product manufacturing environment.
  • A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful.
