Veriday, Inc., a custom software development and managed services company, seeks a highly skilled, hands-on MS Dynamics 365 CRM Architect to join our consulting team based in the US for a 6-month contract position that could offer the possibility of extension/conversion. This is a hands-on role leading the optimization of an existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) deployment supporting a global sales team of over 300 and a Demand Gen group. This is a client-facing role that requires a blend of technical expertise, project management, business acumen, and consulting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping CRM strategies, driving solution architecture and optimization efforts that deliver measurable value to clients. Hands-on experience optimizing existing implementations, including data cleansing, is key.
What you will do:-
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership on CRM strategy and Microsoft ecosystem capabilities.
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and map business processes.
- Translate client needs into scalable Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Review and define end-to-end solution architecture, covering Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and integrations with enterprise systems.
- Oversee solution design, configuration, and development, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Lead technical teams through all phases of the project lifecycle: requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Partner with Demand Gen and Sales teams to support pre-sales efforts, including solution demonstrations.
- Provide estimates, project plans, and technical input to shape client engagements.
- Define and enforce delivery standards, governance models, and best practices across projects.
- Conduct solution reviews, architecture assessments, and technical audits to ensure quality outcomes.
- Guide and mentor consultants, developers, and functional leads on Dynamics 365 best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement within the consulting practice.
- Stay ahead of Microsoft roadmap updates and emerging technologies to keep clients informed and solutions future-ready.
What do you need to succeed:-
- 5+ years of IT/consulting experience, with at least 5 years focused on Dynamics 365 CE architecture and delivery.
- Proven success leading client-facing CRM engagements from pre-sales through implementation.
- Proven experience with data cleanup and change management.
- Strong experience in solutioning across Dynamics 365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service).
- Expertise with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Azure services, API management, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience connecting/integrating with data augmentation platforms such as ZoomInfo.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus).
- Technical Skills:
- D365 configuration skills (forms, views, workflows, business process flows)
- Experience with ALM, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps in a consulting/delivery context.
- Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong client-facing consulting skills with the ability to build trusted executive relationships.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Business acumen to align technical solutions with client strategy and ROI.
