We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer for a 3-6 months contract engagement with a client based in Toronto. This role will focus on enhancing and integrating enterprise architecture and certification platforms, including Athena and ASB Builder, leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform, cloud-native services, APIs, and microservices. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in solution integration, automation, and cloud workflows, working closely with architecture, governance, and engineering teams to enable auto-certification, data capture, and seamless integration with enterprise tools such as LeanIX and Apigee.

This is a contractual hybrid role for 3-6 months, with the potential for extension. The candidate must work from the Toronto office 4 days/ week.

Athena on Power (Athena 3.1) Development

• Solution submission: update endpoint to support end user identification to link to Athena ticket creation
• Questionnaire mapping: support mapping of ASB certification output to Athena questionnaire in order to fill out as much as possible if auto-certification fails
• Auto-certification engine consumer: invoke certification engine, parse result and auto-certify OR identify domains that require manual certification and provide PDF link to ASB
• Data capture: quantify auto-certified solutions, partially and manually certified solutions including specific domains requiring manual certification
• Adding Discovery Tickets to Athena – this is a one or two page form with no complex assignment logic, generates a unique ID that can be used in other process
• Technology Shopping Cart integration with ASB Builder – submitting a solution blueprint should populate the Athena technology shopping cart
• Technology Shopping Cart integration with LeanIX – solution architecture certification should update the associated LeanIX fact sheet with the contents of the technology shopping cart

ASB Builder Development

• Submission of solution to Athena: “submit” button and integration with Athena on Power cloud flow exposed via REST API through Apigee for ASB Builder to consume
• Re-submission of solution to Athena: ASB Builder dashboard (with Athena ticket) can submit solution multiple times using the latest version of ASB
• ASB Builder UI enhancements: indicate eligibility for auto-certification
• ASB Builder UI certification: For pre-built and custom-built solutions, provide user with a list of patterns for each component that “meet” or “exceed” the requirement and identify when a pattern is missing from the solution
• External certification engine microservice: expose a microservice for Athena to invoke that will report with justification on how submitted ASB meets each WAF best practice
• LeanIX integration (nice to have): support syncing of patterns from LeanIX to ASB Builder (assuming development effort / integration effort from ASB Builder)
• Regression testing: support certification engine logic regression testing in UI and invoking certification engine as new patterns are onboarded to the platform to ensure solution certification results are as expected
• On-going defect remediation: resolve known and future defects in ASB Builder code base in support of the above in-scope items
• Align ASB Builder technologies and patterns with LeanIX – this is to enable populating the shopping cart in Athena and carrying it through to LeanIX, it is related to the nice-to-have item below.

A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this role is $70–90 per hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
