As part of this team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our growth efforts across multiple products and platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience while driving revenue and business objectives alongside a group of fantastic people.
About this Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer with experience in growth strategies to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of our growth efforts across multiple products and platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience while driving revenue and business objectives. We are passionate about learning and understanding our users' needs, behaviors, and emotions to create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products our customers love. Embedded within a cross-functional product team and reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you craft experiences to complex problems and participate in all rituals throughout our Product Discovery and Delivery process.
Here's how you'll make an impact:
- Demonstrate a human-centric approach by being an advocate for our brave entrepreneurs.
- Evangelize a collaborative process to design the right thing and design the thing right.
- Gather insights from data research, develop hypotheses, sketch solutions, hold cross-functional design reviews, and continually test, experiment, and refine your work with users.
- Explore multiple possibilities before focusing on a solution that's of value and desirable, balancing user needs with business goals and strategy.
- Maintain an open mind and ego-less relationship to your work to drive improvements regardless of where they may come from.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with our brand and design guidelines across all monetization features.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to monetization and user experience design.
You'll thrive here if you:
- Have a deep understanding and experience of working with both native mobile and web apps.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity, building strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Have strong verbal and written skills to communicate complex ideas, goals, and problems in one-on-one or group situations.
- Have a solid understanding of human-centred design and experience working in agile, lean, fast-paced, changing environments.
- Experience in our industry, business model and competitive landscape, and align design decisions to strategic vision and outcomes.
- Experience in monetization.
- Put accessibility at the forefront of your design thinking.
- Familiarity with both Google’s Material Design Guidelines and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, and the role they play in native app design.
